The Carpentry Shop is currently being refreshed. All the termite damaged walls and workbenches were removed or treated. Additional tool outlets and switches were installed and all walls were repaired and repainted.
A new workbench was constructed using termite resistant pressure treated lumber. The pegboard wall provides lots of space for hanging tools. Electric power and compressed air outlets were built in.
A 1" belt / 5" disk sander, 4" belt / spindle sander, and a 14" bandsaw were donated to the Carpentry Shop by Michael Mead. The new Jet dust collector will be relocated behind the wall after the necessary ductwork is installed.
Michael Mead also donated a 17" drill press to the Carpentry Shop.
